The Home Team
The Connetqout Sayville BBP T-Birds have sent a trio of tenacious defenders to represent the club at this year’s event. Daniel Esposito and Carter Tomforde are tied for the team lead in total points this season. Carter Tomforde has also seen time at center this year. Each player has two goals, two assists and four points on the year. The third defender on this list, Julia Madonna, is a shutdown defender with one goal on the campaign.
The East Islip FR Red Chiefs will be represented by forwards Ryan Bradley, Jack Fontaine and Landon Musumeci with goaltender Travis Martin serving as one of the team’s three netminders. Musumeci is the divisions’s fourth leading goal scorer with nineteen on the campaign. The rising star is ranked fifth in total points. Musumeci netted a double hat-trick in an eight point performance as he led the East Islip FR Red Chiefs to a 13-3 win over the Ward Melville Patriots. Ryan Bradley and Jack Fotaine are tied for eighth place in total points with twenty apiece on the year. Travis Martin has posted a 2.15 GAA on the year, which is the second lowest mark among netminders with five starts or more on the campaign. The East Islip DV Black Chiefs will be represented by Kai Kelly, a smooth skating defenseman with three goals and seven points through ten games in the Developmental division.
The Middle Country Cougars will be represented by forwards Patrick Burke, Connor Girard, defenseman/forward Justin Masone as well as netminder Evan Miller. Connor Girard has scored a league leading twenty-three goals in just seven games and is tied for third in total points with thirty-five on the year. The rising star netted a double hat-trick in a 13-11 loss to the East Islip FR Red Chiefs. Girard tallied nine total points, two goals and seven assists, in a 12-0 win over the Northport Huntington Tigers. Patrick Burke has thirteen points on the season. Justin Masone has ten goals and twelve points on the campaign. Miller has backstopped his squad to six victories with three shutouts on the year which is the second highest mark in the division.
The Smithtown Hauppauge FR Red Bulls will be represented by forwards Luke Anderson, Ryan Andersonand Liam McNamara as well goaltender Joey Scholz. The Captain, Luke Anderson, has an impressive seven goals through ten games this year. Luke’s brother, Ryan Anderson, has twenty-three points on the year which is the sixth highest mark in the division. Liam McNamara, who has tallied the seventh most points in the Freshman division, scored a Michigan goal in a 6-4 win over the Knights. The rising star also netted a natural hat-trick in the last three minutes of the third period to knock off a previously unbeaten Sachem FR Warriors squad by a final score of 5-4. Joey Scholz backstopped his team to four consecutive shutout wins to kick off the campaign. The Smithtown Hauppauge DV Blue Bulls will be represented by Matthew Ackerman, a blue liner with an incredible thirteen goals and seventeen total points on the season in the Developmental division.
The Away Team
The Longwood Lions Developmental team will be represented by NicK Shepherd, who scored eight goals and garnered an assist in a 9-7 win over the East Islip DV Black Chiefs. The rising star is tied for first in goals scored at the Developmental level with fourteen on the year. Shepherd is tied for second in points with twenty-one on the season.
The PatMed FR Red Raiders will be represented by forwards Luke Buck and Kevin Samulik. Luke Buckhas a team leading five goals in eight games this season. Kevin Samulik has two goals and four points on the year. The PatMed DV Black Raiders will be represented by shutdown defender Everett Schupp, who was one assist through eight contests.
The Northport Huntington Tigers will be represented by forward Alec Giacoppi as well as defenseman Nicholas Zadrozny. Alec Giacoppi has five goals and four assists on the year. The Tigers’ rising star also started in net when his team was without their starting goaltender Rex Moscati. Nicholas Zadrozny is a smooth skating shutdown defender with one goal and three points on the year.
The Sachem FR Warriors will be represented by forwards Roman Cruz, Dylan Simone and Will Trapani as well as goaltender James Bourgoin. Will Trapani is a cerebral center with a league leading thirty-nine points on the season. Dylan Simone is a high end finisher with 21 goals and thirty-five points on the year. Roman Cruz is a dynamic skater with eighteen goals and twenty-eight points on the year. James Bourgoin has nine wins and one shutout on the year for the Warriors. The Sachem DV Braves will be represented by Zachary Wellman, a strong two-way defenseman with one goal and five points in on the year in the Developmental division.
The St. Anthony’s Friars will be represented by forwards Kenneth Englehardt, Charles Souhrada and Dominic Tartaglia with as well as goaltender Gaetano Sacino. All four freshman Friars have been called up to the St. Anthony’s JV Gold squad this season. Kenneth Englehardt has eight goals at the freshman level and netted the game winner in a 3-1 victory over the Northport Huntington Tigers. Charles Souhrada has tallied six goals and thirteen points in the freshman division. Dominic Tartaglia has six goals and seven points on the campaign with the FR Friars. Gaetano Sacino has won five games at the freshman level and recorded his first career shutout with the JV Gold Friars in a win over the Smithtown Hauppauge JV Blue Bulls.

The West Islip FR Blue Lions will be represented by defenseman Griffin Gasparek and Ryan Sawicki as well as forward Matthew Rao. Griffin Gasparek leads all West Islip defenseman with six goals and ten points on the year. Ryan Sawicki is right behind him with five goals and nine points on the campaign. Mathew Rao has five goals and nine points for the Lions this season.
